Rutkowski Law Firm

Kendra R. Rozboril

Kendra focuses her practice on probate, elder law and Medicaid planning. While a law student, she completed her externship with Rutkowski Law Firm and then continued as a Law Clerk. After being admitted to practice in March of 2018, Kendra accepted an offer to become an attorney at the firm. Her colleagues and clients are glad she did!

Kendra grew up in Davison and went on to Albion College for undergraduate studies. While at Albion College she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a Spanish and Economics double minor. She was very active in extracurricular life while at Albion. Being a member of Phi Mu, Phi Alpha Delta, and Gamma Sigma Alpha provided Kendra with a sense of leadership. But it was the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy that instilled the passion for wanting to have a career that directly impacted and helped others. This need to help others forever shaped the career choices she made.

Before attending law school, Kendra worked in an assisted living facility. The patients she assisted were in the latter stages of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. This experience gives her an understating of exactly what our elder law clients and their families are going through. Kendra derives a great deal of personal and professional satisfaction from solving the complex problems associated with obtaining Medicaid assistance on behalf of seniors and their loved ones.

After her undergraduate studies, Kendra received an honors scholarship to attend Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She was the Senior Articles Editor for the school’s Law Journal of Clinical and Practical Law, and she graduated with honors.

Kendra and her husband live in Shelby Township, together with their son and a Golden Retriever. When she is not in the office, she enjoys baking and experimenting with new recipes. She also likes to watch British television, play video games, and sew. An accomplished seamstress, Kendra worked for the theater costume department when she attended Albion, making clothing for the department’s performances.
